In the coming days (specifically starting Friday, I am told) you'll notice some work taking place along Hummingbird Lane, along the 14th hole. This is a Town of Highlands water line project, not a Club related project. They will be replacing a water line that runs from the fire hydrant behind the green and runs to the last home on Hummingbird Lane, at the top of #14. The existing water line is not in good condition and often leaks in numerous places along the row of white pines lining the roadway. The disruption will be short lived because replacing the water line that short of a distance will not take very long.
