Before checking this out, it would be beneficial to see the post I wrote yesterday for a background on the USGA GS3.
This morning, the height of cut on the putting greens was lowered to 0.115", where we will stay all summer long. The greens were double cut and rolled and you can see how the results changed slightly from yesterday's readings. Trueness and Smoothness are in the "good" range although we will improve upon these numbers in the coming days and weeks.
One thing worth noting is that rolling does not increase green speed as much as one might think. In my experience, rolling a green may increase the speed by 6" at best compared to not rolling. The other aspect of rolling is that the benefit is relatively short lived. It is an incredibly important process for a number of other reasons.
