Nearly all of the old turf has been removed from the 1st hole. We are tentatively looking to get two truck loads of Kentucky Bluegrass sod next week on Wednesday and Thursday. It will take approximately a total of 5.5 truck loads of sod (49,500ft2) to finish #1. There are 43,560ft2 in one acre. In addition to that, we scheduled a load of 3,000ft2 of creeping bentgrass sod, also on Wednesday, that will be used to finish #4 approach and also to make 2 small approach extensions on the 5th hole as laid out in the Master Plan.
