One of more aesthetic projects that we are working on this week, while it is dry, is around the 3rd green and 4th tee. We are going to tie the approach, Creeping Bentgrass, into the tees on #4. This is a project we looked at with our architect, Ron Forse and concluded it is very much in keeping with old golf courses. Wait until the grass greens up this spring, and this approach is all striped, over to the tees! It's going to add a lot to this area of the course. Hopefully we'll even be able to get sod later this week.
