This morning, we started on the final project that our contractor, Green Tee Golf, will be helping us with this winter. Realistically, they have about another week and a half before they are completely finished.
All of the dead trees in the area where removed, and their stumps excavated. The three large Oak trees were pruned significantly to remove dead braches and thin the crown of the tree. These three Oaks will be specimen trees from now on. After excavating the stumps, the swamp/wetland is very evident at the bottom of the slope. I've developed a game plan for this area that will involve my team working on this area long after Green Tee Golf is finished this winter. I won't get into the specifics just yet, but if you continue to check back in, you'll see the progress firsthand!
