With the cart path at #16 tee finally roughed in, these drone shots give you a better idea of what you can expect.
On the 1st hole, we did a substantial amount of clearing above the green that will be sodded in the next month or so.
The next few photos, show the tees on #2. The 2 tee went from 1,100 ft2 to over 1,800 ft2! The 1 tee will also have a large gain in square footage.
As you can see, the 2 tee is now more of a trapezoid shape as opposed to a rectangle. This was done to gain more footage along with dropping the elevation of the tee approximately 12".
Team HCC is finished aerating fairways and picking up the plugs, thankfully. Now, Tim is using a different aerator to punch holes in the all the roughs on the golf course. Today, he finished the front nine holes.
As you know, we are re-leveling the 1 tee on the 9th hole. We are going to widen the tee the best we can. In order to do that, I am having the guys take the capstone off of the stone wall, and lower it 4" before they put the capstone back on. This will make the top of that wall flush with ground level, allowing the mowers to get closer to it. Doing this alone will widen the tee about a foot.
