Rain continue to move across the Southeast, bringing much needed water to the Highlands plateau. So far, we received just shy of an inch but it looks like there is more to come through the afternoon.
On Monday, we spread calcitic lime around our green surrounds and other areas that couldn't be accessed by the lime truck that was here on November 6th. We timed this with today rain, so the lime can be washed into the soil.
Below, as you can see on the right side of #5 cart path, all of our fine fescue areas were either mowed or weedeated back to about 4". This will help them be healthier come spring time.
