I always appreciate the look of a fairway that is freshly mowed in the morning dew. However, it is equally as beautiful the other way around when the rough is mowed around a dew covered fairway.
Your patience is appreciated for the week as we get the golf course mowed back down to where it should be, particularly on roughs. The rain last week kept the mowers grounded so they wouldn't cause damage. This week, we are making up for lost time and needless to say, we are bailing hay in many areas on the golf course. We have our blower out in full force but you still may encounter some excessive clippings in areas. Carts are allowed back on the turf on all holes except the usuals.
