On my morning walk up the 3rd fairway, I came across this perfectly replaced and repaired divot. Whomever did this, knows what they are doing! You can see the divot was replaced and then sand was sprinkled along the edges of the divot to help prevent it from drying out as well as further leveling the imperfection. If everyone did this, the fairways would be in great condition, season long.
On #17 however, we had a little surprise, where a Locust tree fell during last night's storm. We received 3/4" of rain last night and therefore carts must remain on paths today. It will be a very busy week for us, trying to make up for last week's never-ending rain.
