GCSAA Government Affairs

After 11 years serving on the North and South Carolina Government Affairs committee, I was asked to serve on the National Chapter of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America's Government Affairs Committee.  This has always been an interest to me and it's an honor to be able to serve my profession in this manner. I'll be in Washington DC on Sunday-Tuesday, where we have a pretty well packed agenda of meetings and social activities.  The things that are of concern to Superintendents are issues like the H2B visa program, WOTUS (Waters of the US), EPA pesticide regulations and other topics that impact the golf course profession as a whole.  I'll be posting more about these meetings early next week.    Below you can get a feel for the trip, by reading the agenda.
