This off season, we will be doing some substantial drainage work on holes #11 and 12. With the past season as wet as it was, we were able to see some of our shortcomings and then put a plan together to fix the drainage in those areas. While there are many drainage projects we'll be doing across the golf course this winter, these are the two biggest areas and will take a considerable amount of time. In the cases below, we'll be removing the sod as well so we can re-grade the areas and reduce the low lying "bird baths" throughout these fairways, particularly #11. Come next year, these holes will be much improved. We'll be using resources through 'Turf Drainage of America,' the engineering outfit that deals with sports turf drainage. All of the work will be done with in-house labor.
