Last fall, I obtained a permit from the NC DOT to aggressively trim back the right of way on Dillard Road where you exit Arnold Road. The goal is to increase the visibility down Dillard Road and this helped tremendously! If necessary, we will do some minor bank cutting to aid the view even more. We were able to reduce the cost of this project by partnering with Old Edwards Inn, who also has a vested interest in the improvement of that intersection.
Using a 125 ft crane allowed us to reach all of the trees from the parking lot and didn't require traffic control on Dillard Road.
