If you look into the lake while coming down the cart path on #17, on a clear day you can see a number of tree stumps in the water. Obviously, we have to assume these were cut when the lake was constructed. While sedimentation is and always has been a major challenge in this environment, I can't help to think that Club Lake was never all that deep to begin with. Dredging the lake is going to be a major undertaking a few years down the road.
