A member snapped this photo of a water snake on #12 this morning! While most people don't like snakes in general, these guys are really beneficial and good to have around. While there are poisonous snakes around (copperheads and rattlesnakes), I have yet to see one on the property. I'm not saying they aren't here, I'm just saying that in 19 years I haven't seen one at Highlands CC. Water snakes however, are pretty common on holes like #10 or #12. If you see one, it's best to leave it be.
