One of our projects this coming fall will be something that I’ve been meaning to do for a long time. On the 3rd hole, the irrigation control box sits right in the middle of the open area between #3 green and #4 tees. While it’s in the open now, it used to be hidden in trees! If you recall, prior to 2010, the cart path used to go ABOVE that irrigation box! That green box was hidden amongst trees. The tree line was pushed back along with the cart path but the irrigation box stayed. It’s a tremendous eyesore. Moving the control box will be a tedious project but one that will really enhance this part of the course.
