Greens are are being aerified this morning using 1/4" tines. This process isn't very disruptive and by the end of the week, they will be back to normal. In fact, by tomorrow, they should be rolling fairly good. This is necessary to get oxygen to the rootzone and also to allow us to get water to move downward through a USGA spec green. After the greens are punched, they are cleaned off and then rolled. Tomorrow, we will be right back to where we were with mowing. Thank you for your patience while your greens benefit from this necessary practice.
