It looks like we have a window of a few hours to get some things accomplished on the golf course. A couple of our team members are working on filling tee divots. One thing we are starting on Par 3 tees is the filling of divots in the same manner that is done on the practice tee, using a compost mixture rather than sand. This has worked wonders on the practice tee during the last few years.
It looks like rain will return by noon-1pm. Therefore, we are using this time to spread calcitic lime on the greens. The golf course is extremely wet so we are limiting the amount of equipment on the grass. Please be patient while we allow the course to drain before getting back to our normal maintenance.
