Monday

Madison, our newest Landscape Tech, is busy improving the look of the Club entrance.  Ten new Blue Hollies were planted on the backside of the entrance pillars to enhance to look as you exit your Club.

Below, your greens are getting better each day.  They grow until they are slowed down by a cold night or two (and snow on Saturday) but kick back into gear once the warm weather returns.  We are continuing to mow in the afternoon, once the dew has a chance to dry.  This eliminates our mowers pulling more sand to the surface by sticking to the drum on the mower.  A dry cut gives us a better quality cut without delaying the healing time by introducing more sand.  We are still mowing at .140" until the density reaches a point that we can begin to lower the height of cut.  I assure you it won't be long!

This is the 'Pure Distinction' Bentgrass located on the putting greens at the practice facility.
