We are removing sod on a portion of the rough on #11 where we have a small drainage issue to address. This is the area where most golf carts enter the fairway. #11 is a challenging spot in terms of drainage because the water table is just inches below the surface. When we get a lot of rain, it has no where to go. Ultimately, the best solution would be to channel as much water as we can to various points that would be pumped from the ground. This would be the only way to effectively lower the water table.
