Thursday

Above, 8 arborvitae have been planted by the cart barn to screen this area from view.  During the December snow storm, the existing skip laurel were severely damaged and broken at the base.

Below, the large Oak next to the clubhouse is going to get a professional thinning job.  This tree, which is very pretty and strategic, has a lot of sucker growth and dead wood throughout the top.  Part of any golf course tree management plan is this type of work as well.  A knowledgeable climber will go through the tree and selectively remove and growth that is detrimental to the health of the tree.

Above, our rock work on the cart path island at #10 ladies tee is under construction and looking great!

Below, the Hooded Mergansers (ducks) have returned to HCC once again this winter.  I got a great view of them today before they flew away.

We are down to the last 2 sections to finish off the Bob Jones Bridge on #13.  I'm anxious to get this project completed to be able to focus on other work.
