Perspective


This graph was shown on the social media page of a superintendent from Georgia. It was an incredibly wet season there as well but it is all what you are accustomed to. In Highlands, 65" would be extreme drought and something I could only dream of. After all, providing top notch turf conditions is tremendously easier when we as Superintendents have control over the water. Fast and firm conditions is nearly impossible during a year that gave us over 130" of rain! This individual was commenting on the difficultly of managing turf with the extra 15" of rain.  The last 2 days, Mother Nature dropped 6.5" of rain on Highlands thus far (with more to come)  Year to Date, in Highlands:
