With the temperature reaching about 28 degrees today, it was a great to start the demo of the Bob Jones Bridge. The bridge is going to be rebuilt exactly the way it has always looked. The decking boards and handrails were in need of attention and replacement. The bridge was inspected by a local architect who said the structure is in fine shape other than the flooring. Once the treated lumber has adequate time to dry, we will stain the bridge with a dark color oil based stain as opposed to painting the wood.

The Highlander man is happy again looking towards the 17th green. Below, the lake edges are beginning to ice over with these couple days of cold temperatures.
