The tree on #1 is estimated to be about 108 years old. You can see I counted the rings and marked each decade as well as 1928- the year Highlands CC opened. White Pines like this one rarely live past 120 years old. Most of the trees on the golf course are in the 70-100 year old age range is a concern of mine in the future.
