Here are two panoramic shots I got standing above the 6th hole. This is one of the prettiest views on the golf course, in my opinion. Now that the course is closed for the season, there is an eerie silence around the property. While changing gears is always fun, I miss the general excitement that is experienced everyday at HCC during the season. Things like the sound of mowers in the distance , the smell of fresh cut grass, talking to members who get out early to walk their dogs on the golf course and just the daily challenge of having the golf course prepared and ready for the first tee time. Those are just some of the examples of what I try to appreciate out of each day- it's definitely not a bad work environment!
Like I said, the change to winter is often welcome but our motivation is getting to spring time with the golf course in better condition than when you left it in the fall.
