#10 Tee

The tenth tee complex will be our biggest project this winter.  With the Hudson House renovation underway, it's a great time to address this tee complex as well.  The location of the building required us to shift the cart path to the left of the tees.  The white tee will also be expanded and made larger (over double the current size).  When this tee was originally built in 2011, it wasn't expected to be used like it has been.  With the amount of play it receives, it just can't overcome the wear and tear it receives due to its small size.  There are a number of other aspects of this project that we have to complete...like trenching a new waterline from the Dillard Road side to the new Hudson House.  The grade will also change slightly in front of the building as well. In short, we can't wrap this project up until the contractor gives us the green light on their needs.   In the meantime, we are removing all of the turf in the area, removing the remainder of the original cart path that was left and then reconstructing the Ross Tee to USGA specs.  We are doing this work under the direction of Highlands CC golf course architect of record, Ron Forse.  Keep checking in to see the progress on this project!
