The next few days look like there will be a chance for a couple inches of rain but the wind doesn't appear to be a factor. The storms that hit Western NC from the gulf coast are always the most worrisome. Fortunately, this one looks like it will be uneventful. The forecast for Friday and Saturday look awesome and fall-like!
