Despite the nearly 4" of rain we received over the last 2 days, we are able to mow everything out this morning. Greens, tees, fairways and intermediate rough is all being mowed. The windy night certainly helped dry the course. It will remain cart path only on holes #6, #9 and #11. The morning temperature of 42*F was a nice change and it will be equally as cold this evening. Damage to the golf course was minimal apart from a tree limb here and there. Tee times were held off until 9:20am to allow the staff to get the course cleaned up and stay ahead of play. It is so great to finally experience fall in the mountains! That being said, please be patient for the rest of the year if you choose early morning tee times. Frost will start to be a concern and play will be delayed accordingly. Daylight savings time ends on November 4th and that will allow us to gain an hour of daylight in the morning, which allows the frost to dissipate faster.
