This afternoon, I met with the PoaCure folks and talked more about this product that is now hopefully going to be available for purchase in late 2019 or 2020. It is being developed in South Korea. The mode of action is still not completely understood but it selectively removes Poa annua from Creeping Bentgrass...something that would be incredibly useful at Highlands CC! We are a handful of Clubs that are part of a university demonstration label through Clemson University. I've experimented with this product for the last 3 years and we will once again work with it in 2018-2019. Unfortunately, I can only get enough product to treat 1,000ft2. At HCC we have 3 acres worth of putting greens. The cost to make that application will be approximately $10,000 a year.
