We are tackling a project that we've been meaning to get to all year. On several holes, we planted Norway Spruce trees about 15 years ago. These trees have really grown nicely and are beautiful specimens. However, the lower branches touch the ground, making them hard to mow around and even more difficult to locate a golf ball that may have rolled up under one of these trees. By trimming these lower limbs up off the ground, they become more maintenance friendly and more golfer friendly. This photo was taken on the 9th hole, showing the work done there this morning.
