Monday

We have a little early fall color on the 1st hole.  Maples tend to show off the prettiest colors, in my opinion.  There are some really great varieties out there that have been bred for their fall color.  Examples of these red maple varieties include Autumn Glory and Autumn Blaze.

Above and below, we started trimming all of the hedges around the course and campus.  We put a lot of care and effort into the Rhododendron hedge that buffers the practice green and clubhouse from Dillard Road.  Fernando is doing a fantastic job with this!

Above and below, you can see how the "banking" on the cart path was eliminated by lowering the one side.  This project also involves enlarging the white tee and resodding all of the roughs on the tee complex.  Before that is done, we'll regrade this bank to eliminate the cut that was made below the ladies tee.  We will also be installing a new 6" water main line from the road to the new Hudson House building.  There are a lot of odds and ends like that, that we are doing in-house to contribute to the project.
