There is a lot of technical information here but I thought you might find it interesting to see what data is provided from the water quality testing that I do twice a year from Club Lake. This testing is done by a private lab in Pittsburgh, PA. I’ve been working with Dr. York for over 15 years and have a good relationship with him. Of course, after all the rain we’ve had, irrigation isn’t at the top of my list of things to think about. However, when we do get into a dry spell, the quality of the water we use can impact playing conditions. In Highlands, our water quality tends to be so clean, it strips the soils of nutrients. This is why we make monthly granular applications of Calcium and Potassium.
