Annual Bluegrass Weevil is becoming active in Western NC. Weekly soap flushes on certain fairways allow us to monitor the populations. Thus far, we are seeing very few adults which is a good thing! This insect can be very destructive to tees and fairways! Scouting for adults keeps us ahead of the curve so we can treat as needed prior to seeing any turf damage.
