Despite the rain, we've been able to get a few things accomplished this morning. On #3 fairway, I started noticing what appears to be mild damage from Annual Bluegrass Weevil. An insecticide application was made to fairways 1, 3 and 5. You can see the yellowing of the Poa annua that is affected by this insect.
The putting green on the range tee was mowed today after the height of cut was lowered to .175". Again, this green will be ready for play by July 1st. Our height of cut goal is .125" which is what we mow the greens on the golf course at.
