The cover on the practice putting green at the practice facility was removed permanently this morning. Thanks to the cover, we did get a lot of germination despite the cold spring. In the next week, I believe we will be mowing this green for the first time. Once regular mowing starts, the density of the turf will continue to increase dramatically. I am very happy with the progress on this green given the weather we've had to work with.
