Bunkers got their first raking Tuesday and we will continue to prep them on a 2-3x per week schedule to be sure they are ready for play.
Below, Jerry is making a new birdhouse that hangs from the white pine on the 14th hole. For the last 30 years, this birdhouse has helped golfers identify where a hooked tee shot entered the trees on the left. About 12-13 years ago, the birdhouse fell when the roof rotted and no longer could support the eye hook that was attached to the tree. I took the birdhouse in for repairs and it wasn't 1/2 hour before calls started coming in wondering where this important landmark went! Since then, I've learned to be more proactive with repairs on this birdhouse!
