This afternoon, Syngenta hosted a local education event at Highlands Falls CC. This event was done in partnership with NC State researchers and covered control of annual bluegrass weevil. This pest has been an issue in the area for the last 10 years and it continues to get more serious as several insecticides are not effective due to pest resistance that has developed over the last few years.
