This afternoon we are making our first fungicide and liquid fertilizer application to tees. While it is early for fungicide treatments, we want to be sure we are protected from Take-All Patch, a fungus that's been active on fairways in the past few weeks. It's an odd time of year for it but since last season, the NC State turf pathology lab has confirmed the disease in several areas on Highlands CC.
