Rototilling the Nursery Green

 
In 1998 during the golf course renovation, a nursery green built to USGA specs was installed at the back of the driving range.  As I mentioned a few days ago, we removed all of the turf from the nursery this winter.  We'll be establishing a putting green nursery again this spring.  I'm going to seed it using 8 different Creeping Bentgrass varieties as a way to compare the characteristics of the grasses side by side.  The first step in preparing the green is rototilling the existing root zone mix 2 directions.  The Bentgrass varieties that interest me the most are those shown on this photo:
