Today, some pieces of new equipment were delivered. It goes without saying how grateful we are to have a Green Committee and Club that supports our efforts. In order to put a great product out there (in the form of a well conditioned golf course), reliable equipment is a must. Trust me when I say, we are one of the few golf courses who have an understanding membership that support the efforts of the staff. I can't say it enough!
The ATV below, is going to be used to pick balls at the practice facility. Paul is going to fabricate an adaptor to allow us the ability to install the picker. In addition, this piece came with a 60" snow plow! Plowing snow in the winter just got a whole lot easier!!
Finally, the new 60 horsepower Kubota Tractor replaces a 25 year old John Deere tractor we have. This piece will serve us well into the future and protects the operator from the elements. It is used to operate our blower, aerator, verticutter and pulling trailers as well.
This equipment was purchased locally from Kubota of Franklin. Buying local is something I personally try to do as much as possible for numerous obvious reasons!
