I'm very pleased with today's DryJect process which really helps firm the greens and gets more sand into the organic layer of our 20 year old USGA greens. I watered greens for 16 minutes last night to soften them up, which led to them accepting the sand much better than in the past. When we get a sunny, dry afternoon this week, we will "drag" the greens with a brush to disperse sand that is left on the surface. We've been DryJecting for about 12 years now...in the last few years we've stepped it up to 3x a year as our greens get older.
We plan to finish tomorrow, weather permitting. There is a good chance of rain this evening that should clear out by late morning.
