After the fairways are aerated, we allow the plugs to dry overnight. The following day, we drive over them with a chain drag mat to break up the plugs, which returns the soil/sand back into the turf and allows us to blow the remainder of the plug. Once this is finished, we will aggressively verticut the fairways and then topdress them with sand.
