Saturday Morning...


If you look closely on the PG, you can see a slight checkerboard pattern taking shape where Clemson University researchers and Helena Chemical are looking at Biostimulants at varying rates and frequency of application.

 
Above, we have an odd area on the PG that heaved more than the surrounding turf after DryJect and this led to scalping.  The downside of DryJect, is that nothing is being removed (as in core aeration), only sand being added to a surface that is already pretty firm.  The surrounding ground has no where to go but up in some cases.  Why this occurred right here is a mystery to me and we will plug it out next week.
