Landscape Color

You'll notice some new color and landscaping in front of the golf shop.  A few times a year, I'll get feedback saying we need "more color."  In the past, every landscape architect we've worked with, recommended an understated, elegant appearance for the Club.  This often equates to English looking gardens with lots of green and soft colors like yellows and white.  Last fall, I visited Eseeola Lodge in Linville, NC, a place many of our members are familiar with.  Walking their gardens, I took many photos and documented the simple patterns used in their landscapes.  One of those patterns, a mix of perennials and annuals, was used in this spot.  I am anxious to hear what kind of feedback I receive.
