We arrived this morning to this irrigation break on the 5th fairway...what a way to start a Monday! Irrigation breaks like this are common on aging irrigation systems, ours being 30 years old. PVC pipe and fittings have a life expectancy like all things and as the pipe ages, it becomes weak and brittle, struggling to support 150psi.
