Today I met with 2 researchers from Helena Chemical Co. and three industry professionals from Tokyo, Japan. There is a Japanese product used for Poa annua control (not Poa Cure) that we will be starting some trials with this spring. I'm not one to take many "selfies" but next time, I need to work myself into the picture!
Above, greens were mowed for the 1st time today and they look great. We'll be mowing again early next week and within 2 weeks, weather permitting, be on a regular schedule of greens mowing.
Below, we widened the creek on the 11th hole in front of the ladies tee. Over time, it has been growing together, taking on more of a drainage ditch appearance. Ultimately, it would be nice to enhance this creek with some rock.
