Above, the ground was raised up to make the Bob Jones bridge flush with the ground. We also hauled in rock to create a solid footing for the bridge to rest on. Remember, this bridge is the former statue of the man, himself! :)
Below, the new pervious pavers leading to the cart bridge were filled with soil and then seeded. We then covered the area with pine straw so it holds heat and moisture, allowing the seed to germinate. Even with cooler weather we will get a good bit of germination in the coming weeks.
Below, the fairway crept out to where the white line is painted. Part of this project entails restoring the fairway lines to the architects intent.
Believe it or not, we mowed some grass today! The warmer weather has kicked some grass into active growth. It was kind of nice smelling fresh cut grass for the first time in 2017!
