At Highlands CC, our responsibility extends well beyond the golf course. Cleaning gutter drains and in fact, installing new gutter drainage under the clubhouse was a project today. Later this week, we will be installing gutter guards on several buildings around campus that give us the most trouble. The last picture is another project we did today- repairing a golf course drainage issue on a neighboring property. I've always been a firm believer in the fact that it's a property owners responsibility to control their own water flow, whether it be surface sheet flow or piped underground drainage. I would consider it being a bad neighbor to make a drainage issue the downhill neighbor's problem. We simply can't pass it on.
