Again, at HCC, we incorporate 5,000lbs per 1000ft2. To allow you to picture this, if you put down 5,000 lbs. of sand per 1,000ft2 on the surface of one of our greens all at one time, it would amount to
1.2 inches of sand! While that may not sound like a lot, consider the fact that when we aerify, we only disturb 7-8% of the entire surface.
