Hydraulic Leak on #14 fairway

This morning we had a small hydraulic oil leak on the 14th fairway that leaked for 2 mowing lines.  I am grateful for Jerry, the operator, catching this early.  On mowing equipment that has hundred of O-rings and hydraulic fittings, this kind of thing is unfortunately inevitable.  Paul and Kevin do a great job of visually inspecting lines each time the mower is inspected for sharpness.  During the winter, they will replace any lines as needed.  It is the heat of the hydraulic oil that kills the turf, not the oil itself.  Immediately irrigating the area does nothing but spread it out.  It unfortunately requires patience to allow the turf to heal in a few weeks.  Based on the thickness of the line, this is very minor.
