These types of photos always amaze me- the power that Mother Nature has is something we can't take lightly. I hope by looking at these, you take the lightening alarm serious! Seek shelter immediately. By shelter, I refer to the Clubhouse, Hudson House or other large structure. A rain shelter on the golf course is a perfect place to duck out of the way of a passing rain shower but does not offer the same protection from lightening. If I recall, I read a statistic that 15-20 people are killed every year on golf courses from lightening strikes. I hope we never have to be part of that stat at Highlands CC! BE SAFE!
